Brace yourself, because the cold snap isn’t over just yet!
We’re into day two of a seriously freezing cold front across KwaZulu-Natal, and winter is showing no signs of letting up.
Snowfall continues in parts of the province, with the South African Weather Service (SAWS) warning that snow is expected in mountainous areas of KZN, as well as in parts of the Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, and Free State.

Keep safe on the roads
The provincial Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) activated its Snowfall Response Plan yesterday, with several roads closed and motorists urged to delay their journeys where possible.
Today, RTI teams and road-grading operators are continuing to monitor major routes and areas where further snowfall is expected.
The latest update at 7am reports overcast conditions from Cedara towards Midway along the N3, while drizzle is being experienced between Harrismith and Van Reenen.
There is some good news for motorists travelling through the northern parts of the province, with the N11 Amajuba Pass open in both directions.
Snow is also beginning to clear towards Memel, with Bothas Pass to Memel reported clear.
Transport and Human Settlements MEC Siboniso Duma said: "Once again, we request motorists to exercise extra caution as roads are wet and slippery. Please reduce speed and keep the following distance.”
Conditions can change quickly in areas experiencing snowfall, so motorists should check the latest road and weather information before setting off.
