If you're travelling in Durban this weekend, be sure to check these road closures before you head out!

Motorists can expect road closures and delays across parts of Durban on Sunday, 16 August, as runners take to the streets for the Savage Athletic Club’s 21.1km, 10km and 5km races.
The event will take place from 4.30am to 1pm, with the race starting on Athlone Drive and finishing behind the Green Hub.
According to the Durban Metro Police Service, several roads will be affected as runners make their way through the city.

Closures and traffic restrictions are expected along:

Motorists travelling through affected areas on Sunday morning are advised to use alternative routes where possible or allow extra time for their journeys.
Drivers should also follow temporary traffic signs and instructions from Durban Metro Police officers stationed along the race route.
