Fires de Girona 2016: Animal

The young man behind Animal is Gerard 'Goku' Muñoz, who hails from the Catalan town of Sant Quirze del Vallès and who gained live experience from different lively musical fusion projects; he started to attract attention thanks to a collection of acoustic songs that he recorded for YouTube under the name of Sr. Smizz. At the Fires de Girona, Animal will be presenting their first album, 'Més enllà de les paraules' ('Beyond words', 2016), a mix of intimate but powerful sounds featuring elements of pop, folk, reggae, soul and mixes.
