Time Out says

What best defines L'Aztan is its variety, from an affordable set lunch menu to tapas, pizzas and burgers

Don't be distracted if, when you first go in, the name makes you think you're going to find a restaurant featuring exotic food; Aztan is actually the name of the owner, Nazta, written backwards and it specialises in Mediterranean, homemade cooking that includes creative touches. However, what best defines L'Aztan is its multifaceted nature; while you can choose from an affordable set lunch menu, it's also worth knowing that the kitchen always offers a varied menu including tapas, pizzas and succulent hamburgers. Add to that its privileged location, with interior tables overlooking the river Onyar, and an outdoor terrace within a covered part of the square, and it's no surprise that this place is a big hit with the tourists visiting the Barri Vell and crossing the river via the Sant Agustí bridge.
