El Canal - Centre d'Arts Escèniques Salt/Girona

El Canal - Centre d’Arts Escèniques Salt/Girona is a national centre for theatrical production and creation that forms part of a network of public centres. The objective of El Canal, set up in 2007, is to produce and co-produce high-quality shows from the urban area of Girona with an international calling, and to do it in contact with important centres of dramatic production. In addition, they want to increase the scope of Catalan authors and with the Festival Temporada Alta, become a reference point in the sector: a creative factory in theatre for the south of Europe. The physical headquarters, which are currently underused, were inaugurated in 2013 in the former factory of Coma Cros in Salt.
