The origins of the Balneari Termes Orion are rooted back in the 19th century, when the Girona Provincial Health Authority declared that the thermal waters in this spot could be put to public usage. It wasn't until the start of the 20th century, however, that 'Orion' water became well-known and the owners decided to change the name of the spa to the current one of Termes Orion. Today the centre is popular among lovers of water treatments and nature who are looking for peaceful surrounds for a break. And it's one of the most elegant spas in Catalonia. They offer a range of services and treatments, including baths (with moisturising milk, black grapes, hyperthermal...), saunas, hydrokinesis therapy, inhalation techniques, therapeutic massages and more. They also have special deals that include a night in the hotel, dinner and three hours in the nearby Centre Lúdic Termal Magma, a modern spa owned by the same company, for €49. You can also go for sessions of two or three hours at Magma, without having to stay at Termes Orion, for €22, €24 or €30, depending on the time and time of year.
