Award-winning director Stewart Laing returns to the Citz after 2013’s superb staging of ‘The Maids’ with a new production of Pamela Carters play depicting the love affair between Paul Verlaine and Arthur Rimbaud, and its impact on the former’s marriage to Mathilde.  The cruel-but-poetic verbal sparring is harsh and hilarious as rocky relationships descend into chaos.
