Hipster-friendly Underbelly is arguably one of the finest restaurants in Texas. Led by Chris Shepherd—the first Houston chef to bring home the James Beard Award in a generation—the menu changes daily, but is built on what is fresh, in season and available locally. One dish that never leaves the menu, however, is the ‘Korean Braised Goat and Dumplings’ which, needless to say, is worth the journey alone.
