2016 Johnson, Rayburn, Richards Dinner says
The Johnson, Rayburn, Richards Dinner (JRR), formed in 1989, is one of the largest gatherings of Democrats in Texas. Previous keynote speakers at the JRR include Hon. Martin O Malley, Vice President Joe Biden, and Hon. Barney Frank.

Perhaps you saw this year's JRR keynote speaker on stage the final night of the Democratic National Convention?

This year's keynote speaker is Congressman Xavier Becerra (D-CA, 34th District), the highest-ranking Hispanic lawmaker in the Party and, due to his extensive political experience, his name floated around for months as Hillary Clinton's potential Vice Presidential running mate.

He is currently the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus and was the first Latino to serve on the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.

Rep. Becerra is a pit bull when it comes to defending partisan messaging and is excited to meet Harris Democrats.

The JRR theme this year is "Stronger Together." The tallest, vigorous oak tree doesn't stand alone. Like that oak tree, no one person entirely stands on their own. We are all in this together. We work much better together, walking in unity.

We cordially invite you to join us at this year's dinner.
