PLEASE read everything in its entirety. It's that time of year again!! This is the time of the year that a lot of us look forward to - The Bagel Ball. I am really looking forward to yet another year of great times and lots of fun with a lot of Jewish friends. Those of you who have gone in the past, know it's a great time.
I'd like to continue with the tradition of a really fun night with Jewish people and throw a party for us all to hang out, mingle, and most importantly have fun! We had an EXCELLENT turnout last year, and definitely want to keep it going.
We're making a few changes this year to address some of the issues we had last year. I know a lot of you were upset because you couldn't get in, so I'm trying to alleviate that this year with a different venue with more capacity and a different system of getting in with a guest list.
As always, this event is free; however, you MUST be there before 11:30, and you must RSVP.

If you don't RSVP, you can still attend; however, it will be $10 (with a free drink ticket) before 11:30 - and it will be $15 after (also, with a free drink ticket). You can pre-purchase an "all night" ticket for $15 from the same link. Keep in mind, you'll be guaranteed entry either way - I'm just trying to put some structure around it this year.
This is a PRIVATE event, so we will have the entire venue.
The party will be at one of Houston's very upscale night club, AURA! As with any over 21 establishment, here are a few rules:
1) Must be 21 to get in.
2) Dress code will be enforced
3) Have fun!
If you would like a table for the event (highly recommended), the table minimums are 2 bottles on the dance floor, 1 bottle in the white room.

The bottles are very reasonably priced compared to other places in Houston.
Couple of other things:
- There won't be any issues at the door. I've been asked about this several times, just dress appropriately and you'll be able to get in no problem. It's an upscale night club (same thing as last year) - so no t-shirts, etc.
- There will be self parking available.
- The parking lot to the side of the club - I don't know if it'll be valet or what, but there will definitely be parking..
- There is always street parking available as well in the vicinity as well as in the shopping center where Max's Wine Dive is roughly a block over.
- There will be GREAT music. If you were there last year, the music was EXCELLENT.
