Congregation Beth Yeshurun says
For hundreds of years, we Jews have welcomed the Festival of
Shavuot, the holiday which celebrates the Revelation of Torah
at Sinai, by spending the evening studying our history and heritage. This year, we will revisit the stories of Israel’s greatest kings: their strengths, their weaknesses, their mighty adventures, their personal and political disasters. How is each king regarded by rabbis and biblical scholars today, and what lessons can we who live in the 21st Century still learn from them thousands of years later?

8pm-8:20pm Shavuot Service
8:20pm-9pm Light Shavuot Dinner
9pm-11pm "The Amazing Kings of Israel!"
plus ice cream sundaes and a celebration for Rabbi Morgen's birthday!
