The Houston Zombie Walk says

HOUSTON, TEXAS, 2015- At the urgency of the Harris County Emergency Operations Center, the 2015 Houston Halloween Fest has been cancelled due to the expectation of widespread flooding Saturday. The Scholarship Committee will be working to bring a follow up event immediately after Halloween. Per HZW Founder Darren Tompkins, “As a person who lost two vehicles due to flooding over the Memorial Day floods there really was no other option here. We hope Houston will bear with us as we figure out our next move to fill the lost funds of our scholarship program due to this cancellation.”

We have to practice "SAFETY FIRST" at this time. We care about your safety and well-being. Our hope and plan is to get this event rescheduled and we will keep you all posted on the details as we get them worked out.

Thank you for understanding.
