Crash Course In Chinese Beginner I

This 10-week beginner course, offered in partnership with Chinese Community Center, provides adult language learners a basic introduction and foundation in Mandarin Chinese. The phonetic system (pinyin) will be introduced and practiced through common Chinese expressions and everyday words. After taking this class, learners will be able to engage in basic conversation for daily life. This class emphasizes oral and listening skills. No previous knowledge of Chinese is required. The class is oriented toward people who do business in or travel to China, and it is intended as either a gateway to deeper language learning, or as a quick skill to impress your business partners.
