Dollface By Katharine Sherman (World Premiere!) says
A young painter living carefree on an island begins receiving gifts. Gifts like flowers. Jewelry. Chocolate. Underwear. So she and her sisters get ready for the ball, where she is to meet her secret admirer. She doesn’t remember the rest of the night. An adaptation of the story of Medusa, DOLLFACE is a story told in messages in bottles, in odes of advertising slogans, in bodies turned to objects. It’s a play about power and culture and trauma. It’s the story of a girl who turns into a monster.

This play deals with adult subject matter including date rape, sex, and misogyny and is recommended for mature audiences only.
