Contemporary Arts Museum Houston says
CAMH and our co-sponsor the Houston Astronomical Society invite you to celebrate all things space-related in our own “Space City.” Visit CAMH’s newest exhibition "THE INTERVIEW: Red, Red Future," featuring a brand new body of work by the artist MPA. In this exhibition MPA explores the idea of humans colonizing Mars, the past and future of the planet, and poses questions around the uncharted territory of space. The Houston Astronomical Society will have several telescopes of varying optical and technological designs on display for visitors to explore and engage. Safe solar filters will be used so that visitors can look at the sun through the telescopes to see sunspots and solar flares.

In our space celebration, there will be a variety of hands-on experiences for all ages including: creating your very own sundial, experiencing the wonder of cyanotypes, and building a model of a Mars Rover using recycled materials.

Come hungry; Boombox Taco Truck will be on-site serving their delicious tacos and lunchtime treats!
