The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston says
Treat yourself to an evening of fashion + art, inspired by the luxury of "Habsburg Splendor"!

The MFAH & Houston Community College present a professional fashion show inspired by the exhibition "Habsburg Splendor: Masterpieces from Vienna's Imperial Collections."

"Fashion Fusion" features garments created by young designers in HCC's award-winning fashion program. The fashion show is the culmination of a competition that challenged students to design original garments as edgy, contemporary responses to the gorgeous costumes and fabrics on display in "Habsburg Splendor." The runway show presents 20 selected garments, with awards for the top three winners.

Complete your evening with a visit to the "Habsburg Splendor" exhibition galleries before or after the fashion show, and enjoy cocktails at the special Happy Hour Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.

This event is free! Drop in to participate. Learn more about the exhibition at www.mfah.org/habsburg

General admission to the MFAH is free on Thursdays, courtesy of Shell.
