Food Truck Havdalah says
Back by popular demand, Congregation Emanu El (1500 Sunset Blvd.) will host a ‘Food Truck Havdalah’ on Saturday, April 16 from 4:30-7 p.m. The event will be held in front of the synagogue.

Several food trucks are already committed to take part in the event including The LunchBox Food Truck, Mahalo Munchies and Custom Confections. Custom Confections will be taking part in the event, fresh off winning three first place Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Gold Buckle Foodie Awards for best dessert (‘The Emma’), most creative food (‘The Ultimate’) and best fried food (fried brownie ball).

In addition to the food trucks and a Havdalah service led by the Rabbis, there will be plenty of activities for children including arts & crafts sponsored by the Congregation’s Sisterhood, “Minute to Win It” games and inflatables!

This event is absolutely free and open to the community. Bring your picnic blanket, your friends and join us for a great atmosphere for the entire family.

In addition, this will be your last chance to purchase raffle tickets for Helfman Religious School at Congregation Emanu El's annual technology raffle and best of all, a winner will be announced! Come join us in a fun atmosphere for the entire family!

For more information, contact Jason Plotkin at (713) 535-6414 or JasonP@emanuelhouston.org.

And yes, this event is FREE! The only cost is if you buy raffle tickets or food from the food trucks.
