Let's Talk Fund Development
Calling all arts fund development gurus, coin counting capital campaigners, and fundraising newbies who are fresh on the scene. Houston's arts administrators are getting together at Fresh Arts and you are invited. Grab your friends, get a drink, mingle and chat with some of the experts about the fund development challenges your organization faces and how, together, we can make our arts community better. Topics include but are not limited to: identifying potential patrons and turning attendees and fans into meaningful supporters of your organization.
While many of Fresh Arts’ programs support the development of connections between artists and arts organizations, the art community is also strengthened as artists and staff at arts organizations share lessons learned with one another. Fresh Arts coordinates regular Meet-ups by function area across organizations that provide an opportunity for artists and arts organization staff for this purpose. Our goal for these Meet-ups is to bring arts administrators (by function) together across disciplines, geography, and budget sizes to network, as well as share challenges and best practices.
The first 30 minutes of the Meet-up will be dedicated to a casual meet & greet, with the discussion starting promptly at 4:30pm.
