The event creator says
Folks, we are setting up two shootout style events over the next two weekends - one outdoors based (at my property near Conroe) and one studio based (at Muse) - to aid Nino Batista's family in their time of need.

As I'm sure many of you are aware my close friend Nino is sadly dealing with a massive amount of issues as a result of his wife, Tara, attempting to take her own life a couple of days ago. She is receiving treatment but times will be hard for them for some time to come.

These events are in addition to the GoFundMe donation page ( and the meal donation link ( If you are unable to make these shoots feel free to donate what you can, even if $5.

In addition to these two events two other local photographers are donating proceeds of their upcoming events: Brian Hodges from his event (4/17) and Joe Hemphill from his basic Photoshop class.

Photographer's fee for each event will be $150.
Please send via Paypal as "a gift" to This will avoid fees and all proceeds once received will be sent in full to Nino & family

Models: if interested in attending and helping this cause then please drop me a PM detailing which date(s) interested in attending. There is NO FEE for models to participate.

The event 4/11 will be held at my property (16 acres) on the north side of Houston, near Conroe (address to be given out to sign ups) and will start at 2pm and go until 6pm (ish) for some awesome golden hour shooting. If enough sign ups I will add a 2nd session (9am - 1pm) - max 10/session most likely. There can be some studio shooting as well, but the main focus will be outdoors (obviously weather dependant - if a reschedule is merited then late May would be the next option)

The event on 4/18 will be held at Muse and start at 1pm and may also offer two sessions dependant on sign-ups (to be confirmed).

Requirements: bring your own lighting (& scrim for outdoor) and DSLR (duh) and most importantly come together for fun events, for a good cause, with great shooting.
