Houston Palestine Film Festival says
On the second night of the Houston Palestine Film Festival, we will have two sets of screenings!

The second set of screenings include an encore presentation of "Gaza Surf Club," a documentary that chronicles the world of Gaza's surfing enthusiasts as they navigate the challenges and restrictions of daily life under siege. It will be accompanied by "Gaza a Gaping Wound," a short film by photojournalists Ann Paq and Ala Qandil that draws attention to the families from Gaza whose lives were shattered during the Israeli offensive in 2014.

Saturday night will also include a photography exhibit that is part of the Obliterated Families project, which highlights the 142 families that lost three or more of their members in 2014. Filmmaker Ala Qandil will be on hand to greet audience members and answer questions about the film and photography exhibit.

Screenings will be followed by a reception and discussion of major themes. We hope to see you all then!
