Handstands are fun and exhilarating. They can also bring up a lot of fear and when this happens we tend to shy away from learning them or even trying them at all. This workshop is thoughtfully designed to give you practical tips and techniques to learn handstand whether you are a beginner (including the beginner that's never approved handstands) to the intermediate student.

We will work on strengthening techniques for our core and upper body and use props to learn and refine how to enter and exit a handstand fluidly. We will use the wall as a prop and work with partners in the center of the room.

We will also learn tips to refine our jumping agility in general and piking into handstand using blocks and straps.

Students will leave this workshop feeling invigorated, refreshed, and empowered at tackling some mind fear blocks with this exhilarating pose. Students will also learn how to take these tips and incorporate them into their personal practice.
