Benefitting Last Organic Outpost of Houston

One of the most consistently exciting talents in today’s underground scene with release on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical, Cocoon and Leftroom and Culprit (just to name a few) ticked off on his resume, this Nottingham-born producer has come on leaps and bounds since he spent his first ravey days dancing in some of the UK’s most (in)famous music factories.

In a post-industrial world, Mia Wallace has crawled out of its primitive skin and slithered into a place where major scales and catchy melodies have long been in exile. Flooded in a desire to elevate sound to a new plateau the group continuously innovates the bridge between traditional Techno & improvised performance. The group’s unique live show showcases hoards of technological advances seamlessly intertwined with primordial acoustics. The dark howls of an aboriginal Didgeridoo vibrate the walls as they dance their way around haunted Techno rhythms. Pitch shifting percussion crawls up your vertebrae, intertwining with your embedded need to reconnect with your primal essence. An enchanted hybrid of ancient and still to come drips out of the speakers… the sound strikes the minor chords of your core, vibrating your foundation in a way that you have never experienced anywhere else.

#ARThrob believes in Music, Art, and Food everywhere. That's why a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to The Last Organic Outpost on Emile Street.

The Last Organic Outpost generates healthy communities and establishes a local food economy in Houston's under-served neighborhoods through urban farming and farm-based art & education. We empower communities through sustainable agriculture that teaches residents to produce safe, healthy and accessible food for all. We envision growing 'Food Everywhere' and seeding an Urban Agricultural District that cultivates our region's food and supports local farmers to thrive despite economic, environmental, health and social challenges.
