Houston Cyclists Demonstration At City Hall says
After last week's tagging and further delay of the Houston Bike Plan vote. We thought it would be great to invite all of Houston's cyclists to join us at City Hall in a demonstration supporting the Bike Plan.

3/21/2017 - Arrive at City Hall at 6:30 (Join a group riding to city hall or create one)

Ride Groups:
The Urban Bicycle Gallery - leaving the shop at 6 pm.
Michelle Mishka - Washington area Crestwood & Arnot. Leaving at 6:00pm
Mutulu Kafele - EastEnd leaving from Bohemeos at 6:00pm
Angie Cabrera - Heights leaving from White Oak Bike Trail by Oxford
Houston Bcycle - Houston Bcycle Ride to Cyclists Demonstration at City Hall
Rene Gonzalez - EastEnd - The Hot Spot (3509 Harrisburg) leaving at 5:30

We invite all ride leaders to set up a ride in their respective part of town, and we can all mass-up at City Hall. Let us know if you are leading a ride and we will post here as well.

Once at City Hall, we will invite you to help us build a bike lane around the reflection pool. You can even use your group's logo to place on the lane. We want this to be a complete community event and for everyone to participate.

We have invited Council Members and we're inviting the press. This is the night before the vote on Wednesday.

Please post up any ideas for activities we can do while at city hall. If you want to make signs and bring them, that would be awesome too. We want this to be fun, but we also want to make sure that we make it clear to the city that cycling infrastructure is important to us.

See you all there!
