Join us for a very auspicious event, the ritual bathing of the sacred Śrī Yantra accompanied by chanting of the one thousand names of Divine Mother! The Śrī Yantra is a mystical diagram of nine interlocking triangles that represents the visually abstract, energetic body of Lalitā, also known as Tripūra Sundarī, the joyous, light-filled manifestion of our transcendent, cosmic Mother. Ian will be directing a special ceremony, called ābhiṣekaṁ, which involves giving a ritual bath to an image of the Śrī Yantra, in this case an engraved copper plate which Ian has owned for many years. During the bathing ceremony, which everyone will participate in, Ian will be chanting a very powerful set of mantras, the Lalitā Sahasranāma, or One Thousand Names of Divine Mother. The effect generated by this pūjā can not be calculated! Lalitā is the source of transcendental bliss (ānanda) and her blessings are infinite!

Feel free to bring a small, waterproof object (anything metal, stone or ceramic) to place in the ritual bath along with the Śrī Yantra, to place a special blessing energy on that object.
