What is Taizé? - ‘A Pilgrimage of Trust on Earth’: The Taizé Community of France was founded by Brother Roger in 1940. He longed to bring together diverse groups of people, and to build a world of reconciliation. Taizé, France has become a beautiful place of pilgrimage, attracting thousands of young adults yearly, to experience the peaceful and centering music and liturgy. Taizé is an ecumenical, international community of more than one hundred Catholic and Protestant brothers who are joined by religious sisters, and people from the community in their work of love, peace and reconciliation. ~ LD.
