Following his passion for food, Chef Mark put his career in Commercial Real Estate Development on back seat and ventured into the restaurant industry in 2006 by purchasing an existing 9 table 36 seat Korean restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio. By 2008, with modification of recipes and techniques, brought success and grew the restaurant to a 110 seat operation. Riverside Korean Restaurant is consistently a part of the top restaurant conversation in Cincinnati. In 2010, “Cincinnati Magazine” recognized the effort with 10th best in their “Top 10 Restaurant” listing. Leading up to 2010, Riverside Korean Restaurant was immediately recognized as “Top 25 Restaurants” by Cincinnati Magazine in 2007, 2008 and 2009. He followed the success of the Riverside Korean Restaurant with a Latin cuisine restaurant in 2011.

Mark returned to the Commercial Real Estate via Houston in 2013 and his passion for food is biting him again. He is highly excited about the opportunity to do a “One Day “pop up restaurant at Wooster Garden with 30% of net proceeds benefiting the Houston Food Bank.
