The purpose of this ride is to familiarize riders that are considering the Marathon Crash Race with the Marathon Route.

This is the Houston MCR 2016 Course. It deviates slightly at 610 and Westpark and at the end for safety reason.

It is important to know the route to safely navigate the course and in case a rider falls behind.

THE GOAL IS TO LEARN THE ROUTE NOT RACE IT. So with that in mind we will be keeping a relaxed 18mph through out the course, two abreast, in some clean pacelines. This is not a race. We want people focused on learning the turns and where the street hazards are.

NO DRINKING BEFORE THE RIDE. We can have beers after on our return ti Liberty Station.
