The event creator says
Really Really Free Market will be returning to Menil Park this January!- and depending on how well this Really Really Free Market goes, I might try and keep the event alive myself until someone decides to take it from me!

The RRFM movement aims to counteract capitalism in a proactive way. It holds as a major goal to build a community based on sharing resources, caring for one another and improving the collective lives of all. Markets often vary in character, but they generally offer both goods and services. Participants bring unneeded items and food, as well as skills and talents such as entertainment or haircuts. A RRFM usually takes place in an open community space such as a public park or community commons.

Last Saturday of the month from 2-7.

Bring you own bags, take as much as you'd like.

Even if you can't attend, be sure to share the event so all your Houston friends can be in the know!

Another note; please don't trade or barter at these events. It really takes away from what the event is supposed to be. If you don't want to give something away, then simply don't bring it.
