Station Theater says
RetCon is short for retroactive continuity. It's a common device used in comic books, sequels, and TV shows where new information about the past is revealed to shed light on the current situation. As an original improv form, it will be as if a classic La Ronde had the order of its scenes reversed. The first scene will actually be the end of the story and each scene will move backwards as the characters' actions are explained as they move back in time to the beginning. It will be a hilarious journey going back in time!

Cast: Alexandru Zaha Zaharia, Ben Hebert, Betty Mujica, David Toscano, Jesse F. Garson, Nicole Nodarse, season tech/alternate Chuck Vaughn.

This week's opening acts are:

Magical Lying Hour
Magical Lying Hour brings to life an actor's second worst nightmare: an unprepared scene partner. During the show you will see rehearsed and polished actors masterfully present scenes from classic and contemporary stage plays. Each of them is joined on stage by an improviser who knows nothing about the play. While one sticks to their script and the other does what they know best the two work must work together to get through opening night. Cast: Aaron Garrett, Steven Saltsman, Ruth Hirsch

Chop Town
Welcome to Chop Town where you’re never alone. Over there, around the corner, upstairs, in that passing car, something is happening. One location, thirty different angles. Cast: Monica Marcha and Gino Sandoval

Tickets: $6 in advance / $8 at the door
