This week's opening acts are:

Magical Lying Hour
Magical Lying Hour unites contemporary theater and improvisation into a potent cocktail of fear and thrill. Each scene finds an actress on opening night. Like any actor she merely wants the small favor of showing you a new world dreamed of by a playwright, inhabited by her, and for the enjoyment of all. She know her character, she knows the play, she does not know her stage partner. Each scenes finds an improviser creating a new world as he does every night. He does not know who he is or where he is, but he knows his scene partner has an opinion on the subject. Together they work each in their own strength and own weakness to create a scene not entirely new and not entirely from the pen of a playwright, but in between, inside the Magical Lying Hour.

Cast: Aaron Garrett, Steven Saltsman, Ruth Hirsch

Imagination of Rachel & Gino
This fabulous duo, founded on friendship, portrays its take on the world through a pretty flower format and two vivid imaginations. These 20-somethings use logic and creativity to transport you anywhere from a diner to a pirate ship while remaining grounded in the basic ideas of being human that can make you laugh or cringe.

Cast: Gino Sandoval, Rachel Schlossman
