CLARIFICATION: THIS IS A CLOTHED EVENT. We dance to bare our true essence, not our naked bodies.

We all bare more than just our feet and toes when we dance. We reveal something of our essence in our movement, in our gaze, in whatever we express and allow to be seen.

How do you experience being bare in all its powerful meanings in the dance? - unconcealed; without disguise; uncovered; plain, essential, fundamental, simple, empty, stark, exposed, unadorned, unembellished; to reveal, divulge, open.
Do you come empty to take in all you can of the experience? Do you choose to bare no more than you have to at dance or do you release and reveal, laying present with all of your self at the dance? Are you aware of how bare you are? To your self, others, and the world?

“To share your weakness is to make yourself vulnerable; to make yourself vulnerable is to show your strength.”
― Criss Jami

As some of you may know, I am a facilitator of a monthly naked men’s ecstatic dance in Austin. I’m thankful to be aware of the difference between dancing with clothes on and literally being bare naked. I find that when I dance naked my vulnerability increases, my heart opens, I connect much easier with strangers in a dance. I am able to release into the dance easier as I’ve already exposed and let go of all the parts of myself that still hold shame and fear and have nothing left to worry about or try to conceal. It’s an incredible feeling and more than I can properly convey in words.

We invite you this Sunday to bare witness to the dance, to participate fully and perhaps reveal something of yourself that you haven't before, to be free open authentic and comfortable in all you are.
(For clarity, this is an all ages, all body types, all phyical abilities, and CLOTHING REQUIRED EVENT.)

Bare all!!! Be natural, be love, be you!
