This week, we welcome author Katherine Center!

Katherine is the author of five bittersweet comic novels about love and family—including Happiness for Beginners and The Bright Side of Disaster—with two more on the way in 2018 and 2019. Her fourth novel, The Lost Husband, was recently optioned for a movie. Her writing has appeared in Redbook, People, USA Today, Vanity Fair, The Atlantic, InStyle, and Real Simple. Katherine has earned many fellowships and awards for her work, and rights to her books have been sold in countries all around the world, including Hungary, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Israel, and the Netherlands. BookPage named her a new writer to watch, the Houston Press featured her as a Top Ten writer in the city, and The Dallas Morning News calls her novels "satisfying in the most soul-nourishing way."

Katherine holds degrees from Vassar College and the University of Houston’s Creative Writing Program, and she lives in Houston with her husband and two sweet children.

Opening for the Supernova is Lotería - a show where everything including the performers is left completely up to the bingo-caller's chance.
