Rice Women's Resource Center says
To show support for the survivors and victims of sexual violence on campus, the Rice Women's Resource Center and the Queer Resource Center will be hosting a traveling march/candlelight vigil. Take Back the Night (TBTN) is a an international anti-sexual assault movement working to break the silence that surrounds sexual violence and raise awareness about the issue. TBTN seeks to end sexual violence in all of its forms including sexual assault, sexual abuse, dating violence, and domestic violence. TBTN empowers survivors in the healing process and inspires responsibility in all.

The vigil will start in Ray's Courtyard (outside the RMC by the Rice Chapel) with a keynote speech and will be followed by a march through campus with stops at the south colleges, north colleges, and Willy's statue. Further details to come.
