What better way to get into the holiday spirit than hanging out with Santa, his elves and a giant turkey?

Much like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade where Santa makes his grand appearance at the end, the Children's Museum is proud to host Houston's premier Thanksgiving event just for kids! Grab your wish list and camera, and join us for our terrific holiday traditions!


-Great Gobbler Thanksgiving Elf Parade: Gobble, gobble! Design banners and Thanksgiving vests and pennants to wobble alongside our turkey during our colorful Thanksgiving Parade.
-Thanksgiving vests, pennants and banner-making is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in One World and Tree Top.
-Cirque La Vie elves /noisemaker giveaway (while supplies last) at 12:45 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.
-Thanksgiving Parade at 1 p.m. (limited to 160 visitors; first come-first serve) in Brown Auditorium.
-Meet Santa: Have you been naughty or nice? Bring your wish list and camera and meet the man in red. Event Time: From 1 to 4 p.m. in the Brown Auditorium.

-Corn Painting: Have a corn-tastic time making Thanksgiving artwork at Art Academy.
-Fall Leaves Turkey: Ruffle feathers and make a turkey out of leaves at EcoStation.
-Turkey Leg Hat: Create a turkey leg hat which will leave you gobbling for days at Junktion.
-Great Gobbler Fan: Stay cool this November with a paper turkey fan at Junktion.
-Thank You Tree: Write a thank you leaf and place it on the Thank You Tree at Junktion.
