In Mexico 43 students were kidnapped and murdered. People have taken to the streets to demand change to a corrupt system, one in which the drug cartels control much of the Government. In Hong Kong people take to the streets to demand a voice in their Government. In America people all over the country have come together to protest the failure of grand juries to prosecute police officers that murdered unarmed black teens and adults. All over the world people have taken to the streets to demand that their voices be heard. The job of the artist is to reflect on the world around them to show future generations the world around us. To reflect on our thoughts, emotions and the events that make up our society today. Michael Wooten and East End Studio Gallery would like to invite you to participate in our Art of Revolution show.
