Chef Dimitri just moved to Houston from NYC, where he was born and raised and attended the French Culinary Institute. Dimitri competed on Season 11 of Chopped, which lead to one of the celebrity chef judges, Marcus Samuelsson, to offer him a position at his Harlem hotspot, Red Rooster. Since his Chopped appearance, Dimitri has also helped manage the kitchens at Bar Boulud and Russian Tea Room. Most recently, he was the Executive Chef for the Motorino group, worldwide. He is currently working on an undisclosed local concept.
