The Nature Conservancy in Texas says
Join The Nature Conservancy in Texas on November 3, 2016 at the Houston Polo Club for our Toast the Coast Annual Conservation Gala!

We will be celebrating the Gulf of Mexico - one of the hardest working bodies of water in the world. The Gulf supports thriving recreation and tourism industries, provides more than 600,000 jobs and produces two-thirds of the seafood Americans eat. That’s why we want to show it some love.

Whether you fish, bird, or just love the Gulf Coast, our work in the Gulf impacts your life. Here’s how:

- We’re striving to protect coastal prairies and restore healthy wetlands, which is vital in ensuring a more resilient Gulf Coast;

- We’re restoring hundreds of acres of historic oyster reefs throughout the Matagorda, Copano, and Galveston bay systems, which improve water quality, support healthy fisheries, and help to protect coastal communities during storms and hurricanes;

- And we’re working in marine science—sea level modeling, migratory species tracking, invasive species monitoring and coastal and coral reef resilience—to help inform Gulf restoration efforts and create a blueprint for the future.

Join us November 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for dinner, dancing and live entertainment. Raise a glass for the Gulf and toast the Texas coast! For more information, call 713-230-8167 or email
