Too often we speak about HIV and the Black community is left out and when we do speak of the Black community, it is often by those who do not have HIV. The sole purpose of this event is to empower those living with HIV to take the lead in fight for respect, to break stigma and save lives.
As an HIV positive Activist who fights erasure, I often experience it when it comes to HIV and I am not alone.This event will feature no speakers, you are the speakers, we wil lift our voices and make ourselves known!
We will meet at the base of the hill by Miller Outdoor Theater
