In recent years, attempts have been made to revive history in the covered Cardo Street in the Old City, casting actual and contemporary content in 2,700 years of history.
Today, visitors can find spectacular mosaics consisting of thousands of colored stones, created and designed by the Jerusalem artist Dudu Harel. There are various shops showcasing artisanal works inspired by archaeological finds in the ancient area.
