The Cardo in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City
In recent years, attempts have been made to revive history in the covered Cardo Street in the Old City, casting actual and contemporary content in 2,700 years of history.
Today, you can be impressed by the spectacular mosaics, consisting of thousands of colored mosaics stones, created and designed by the Jerusalem artist Dudu Harel. The mosaics showcase nine stores selling typical products, or typical artisans, inspired by archaeological finds.
