Among its many customized trips, Sky Aviation allows you to see the country from a bird’s-eye view. On the 30-minute “Romance,” an airplane glides along the coast of Tel Aviv’s beaches, through Jaffa and the surrounding cities of Holon, Bat Yam and Rishon L’Zion, swinging back just in time for the sunset to toast the Tel Aviv skyline. The two-and-a-half hour Caesarea tour departs northwards on the shores of the Mediterranean, flies low for exquisite views of Herod’s Theater, sweeps past archaeological excavations at Dor and a crusader fortress at Atlit. It then glides through to Mt Carmel, Haifa’s bay and Old Acco’s ancient moat, marinas and mosques, and finishes on border of Israel and Lebanon.
