Halloween, the most horrifying and mischievous time of the (North American) year, has become a cult of sorts thanks to Rocky Horror, Hallmark, and a little T.V. episode called, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Such a staple American holiday must be celebrated at Tel Aviv's staple American food and drink complex.
From October 30-31, America is going all out in honor of Halloween. In addition to costumes and decorations in the spirit of the holiday (including carved pumpkins, spider webs, and costumes), a line of fun dishes have been stirred up, promising to speed up the guests' heart rates by appearance, taste, and calorie-intake.
The double, double, toil and trouble includes:
Double burger with blue cheese, cheese fondue, topped with beets, onion rings, and America sauce (NIS 88)
"Freddy Krueger" Hot Dog
A finger-shaped hot dog filled with Emmental cheese, and topped with fried onions, coleslaw, ketchup, and caramel corn (NIS 42)
Fried chicken quesadilla filled with fried onions, roasted pumpkin, and cheddar cheese (NIS 42)
Chocolate and chili mousse with berries, caramel, and butter cookies (NIS 38)
