Time Out says

The punk-jazz group, formed by preeminent jazz organist Cory Henry, kicks off their European tour at the Barby.

Over a decade before his tours with music legends like Bruce Springsteen, and Grammy Awards as a member of the jazz ensemble Snarky Puppy, Cory Henry was making a name for himself in Harlem. The Brooklyn born jazz organist and pianist debuted at the legendary Apollo Theater at age 6, and from there, armed with an electric organ, began a jazz career alongside other notable performers. Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles–a group of 7 musicians handpicked by Henry–is Henry’s entrance into his independent musical vision. Come kick off their upcoming European “Funk Crusade Tour” at the Barby in Tel Aviv!
