Love at first sight, death at last glance–a poignant opera lights up the stage

The Israeli Opera is kicking off the season with a bang. Puccini's La Bohème casts the spotlight on the young bohemians living in Paris' Latin Quarter in the 1840s. This opera, conducted by Francesco Cilluffo, and directed by Stefano Mazzonis di Pralafera, has all the fixings: romance, death, tragedy, paired with the magic of Christmas Eve.
