A special poetry and storytelling slam series is coming back to Tel Aviv

The Stage TLV is at it again, introducing their fifth season of their popular series.

Kicking off on Nov. 21 and taking place in Tel Aviv once a month, those bold enough will be able to compete and perform their poems or stories in English to an attentive and eager audience.

The first event of the series will be taking place at BeerBazaar Levinsky where 10-12 performers will give their best shots and center their performance around the night’s theme, “Trashed.”  Themes will change through each round of the competition and past themes have included “Mama Always Said” and “Take me drunk, I’m home.”

This season’s series will take place over six months culminating in the Grand Slam where the top two scorers from past events will perform and be crowned Slam Series champion. (FYI) Performers have to fill out a google form prior to performing for each round.
