The Hip Hop Roots Festival brought by veteran music producer Erez Gazit, brings to Israel the legendary hip hop groups De La Soul and Arrested Development for a highly-anticipated evening at the Raanana Park Amphitheater. The full lineup will be published soon

Hip Hop luminaries De La Soul and Arrested Development will arrive in Israel this May at the Raanana Park Amphitheater. The organizers of the festival promise "more surprises" in the line-up.

Arrested Development was formed in Atlanta in 1988, and four years later released their first album, "3 Years, 5 Months and 2 Days in the Life Of...", which was a meteoric success and reached quadruple platinum in the United States. The band waxed poetic on social issues of racism, discrimination, violence and religion. They will arrive to Israel to perform with all eight founding members of the ensemble.

De La Soul was formed around the same time - three rappers who were friends from high school. Their first two albums ("Me Myself and I" and "Oooh") are considered highly influential on the Hip Hop scene, and they are known for revolutionizing sampling in the Hip Hop through to today..

Hip Hop Roots Festival, Raanana Park Amphitheater, Thursday (31.5). Opening gates at 18:00, NIS 304
