2017 was a year of openings in Tel Aviv and one of the most significant was the TLV Fashion Mall, a mall that brings together local designers with universal brands. All under one roof, you get local boutiques mixed with popular chains, and lots of live shows and events. Instead of a traditional food court, there are food shops studded across the mall and even places to eat around the mall's perimeter.
The newest slice on the baked goods block: the American-born Cheesecake Factory. It’s not the entire restaurant, but more of a bakery shop with all the cheesecakes you can imagine, so you can pick up dessert for your next party or indulge on the spot if you just can't make it home. Much like its flagship shop, the TLV Fashion Mall branch will be offering fourteen types of cheesecake, ranging from “The Original Cheesecake” and the Red Velvet Cheesecake, to the Blackout version (with dark chocolate, chocolate chips, and almonds) and the “Tuxedo Cheesecake” (with fudge, chocolate cheese filling and vanilla, topped with mascarpone and chocolate mousse). The cakes can be purchased per slice (NIS 30), or as a whole in three sizes: medium: 7” for NIS 100, large: 9” for NIS 150, extra Large: 10” for NIS 220.
