Tel Aviv is excited about its most successful cultural appropriation yet: pumpkins, demons, and general Americanization - here are the spookiest parties taking over the city

Thankfully the Jewish New Year is behind us, and now the time has come for the holidays that are actually enjoyable - the ones that you can just get drunk without any guilt or (God forbid) your intrusive family. Even Jews can still go out and celebrate Christianity at its best - because it is a great mitzvah to be happy, and why not add some bright pumpkins, slutty gothic costumes, and partying until the sun comes up?

Halloween Special: playDead Live

The psychedelic electronic duo will go off at Drama, donning creepy Halloween masks for a delusional night that will haunt you in your sleep.

Drama, 52 Nahalat Binyamin St, Tel Aviv, Wednesday, October 31 at 22:00

The Halloween Experiment

Expect dark music, a temporary tattoo stand (because someone must have realized that getting a real tattoo while drunk might be a mistake), terrifying cocktails, and a general pumpkin atmosphere.

Cuckoo's Nest, 3 Noam St, Jaffa, Wednesday, October 31 at 21:00. Free entrance

A Film Party

"Little Shop of Horrors" and "Beetlejuice", costumes, popcorn, sweets, and surprises. Get your costume on and have some wacky fun.

The Prince, 18 Nahalat Binyamin St, Tel Aviv, Wednesday, October 31 at 22:00

Fear of Heights

Demons are pretty scary, but drunken dancing on a rooftop of the 10th floor is something else. Suramare promises dizzying art, scary cocktails, monstrous video art, and groovy dancing.

Suramare, 24 Se'adya Ga'on St, Tel Aviv, Wednesday, October 31 at 21:00. Free entrance

Costume Party

Expect a facial and body painting stand, great djs, and discounts on the drinks, so that you drink enough to get some paint on your face. Costumes are mandatory.

Abraham Hostel, 21 Levontin St, Tel Aviv, Wednesday, October 31 at 19:00. Free entrance

A 90's Party

The Duplex club went all out for this festive production, as if it was our own holiday or something. Enjoy four 90's dance floors, rotating djs, sweets, and lots of surprises.

Duplex, 10 HaShah St, Tel Aviv, Friday October 26 at 22:30. NIS 55 - 65

Hip Hop Halloween

Just like hip hop in a Pasáž, only with costumes. The atmosphere will be full of skeletons, ghosts, and demons. With DJ Romantico.

Pasáž, 94 Allenby St, Tel Aviv, Wednesday, October 31 at 22:00. NIS 20 - 30

Movie: "Halloween"

Exactly 40 years after the original version of "Halloween" hit theaters, a sequel to the gory hit that invented all the horror cliches ever known rears its ugly head...again. Jamie Lee Curtis is already a grandmother, and now she is ready to have her revenge.

Opening Thursday, October 25 in theaters
