Jerusalem's Film Festival to launch a first-of-its-kind project in Israel: CinemaPark

A celebration of summer, cinema, music and food for the whole family in Jerusalem's Independence Park
 

The "CinemaPark", which will be set up especially for the 2018 Jerusalem Film Festival, will open on July 28th. It will feature a summer screening complex including screenings on a huge outdoor platform under the sky. All day long until evening there will be a cinematic activity area for children, a hip-hop complex, skateboard shows, and cinema-on-the-water, where viewers can sail on boats in a huge water pool while watching fun movies.

In the children's complex there will be an interactive green-screen studio, creative areas with old-fashioned movie toys, and a giant popcorn trampoline with balloons.

In the pool area there will be water-themed films and TV shows screened including "Moana", "The Little Mermaid", "SpongeBob SquarePants", "Jaws", and more. 

In the main compound there will be screeninging of the films "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" with a live soundtrack performed by the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, a celebration of 20 Years of "The Big Lebowski", and more

Alongside the screenings and activities, visitors of the CinemaPark can enjoy a variety of food trucks.
