In case you missed it, Carolina Lemke collaborated with Kim Kardasihan a year ago in order to access the US market. Kim receives a nice percentage, designs a collection for the brand, and stars alongside Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli in a campaign that celebrates the collaboration. Oh, and she will also be arriving to the Holy Land next month.

If we ignore our love for the first royal family of the United States (and we have plenty of it) and the joy of the arrival of the Queen, we can take a rational and serious look at this surprising and kind of ridiculous collaboration.
The collection is composed of 13 signature creations by Kim, divided into three categories. The early sale on the brand's website includes seven models. The rest of the models will be available for purchase only after her arrival next month.

In the past, Kim had said that her husband, Kanye West, used to send her regular emails with suggestions for improving her style. "[Kanye] sent me a whole email like, ‘You cannot wear big glasses anymore.'" However, the suggestion might not have made an impact, given her collection with Carolina Lemke. The more successful models in the collection are the smaller, round frames dubbed "The Fifth Element", which, according to Kim, are influenced by the iconic movie from the 90s.

The rest of the designs in the collection try to be more of a futuristic style, but are just reminiscent of multi-colored ski goggles, from the 2000's that we can't say we miss.
