The festival will be held in northern Israel this September and feature more than 100 artists and bands from around the world

American pop star Lana Del Rey is joining the upcoming Meteor Festival's unbelievable line up. Del Rey was scheduled to perform in Israel in August 2014 but her performance was cancelled. She joins a very impressive line up, including American rapper A$AP Ferg, who also recently joined. The Meteor Festival will take place this September at the Pecan Park at Kibbutz Lehavot Habashan. The list also includes Flying Lotus, DJ Koze, Mura Masa, Soulwax, Ariel Pink, Nina Kraviz, Pusha T, Kamasi WaSHINTON, and more.

This is the first festival of its kind in Israel. To date, more than 100 artists and bands from Israel and around the world will perform at the Meteor Festival - some of the most prominent names in music festivals in Europe and the US, as well as some of the biggest names in Israeli music. Meteor will be the third festival in the world to collaborate with Spotify: the playlist of participating artists will enter the category of "Festivals" on the music app, and users will receive a personalized playlist.

The festival is packed with different music styles, and it is evident that the Israeli music production company, Naranjah, has thought of the indie crowd, as well as fans of electronic music, hip hop, pop, and even esoteric styles. The festival will have five stages, and sleeping will be held in tents under the pecan trees. In addition to the performances, there will be a cinema tent, art exhibits, and more.
